This 82-minute English film directed by Deborah Haywood shows a mother (Lyn) and daughter (Iona) who have a very close relationship. Both are excited about their new life in a new city. Determined that things go well after a difficult start, Iona meets her three new best friends. Her mother, accustomed to being herself the best friend of Iona, feels abandoned and gets a new best friend: her neighbor Belinda. Although both mother and daughter pretend that everything is going smoothly, nothing is like that for either of them. Iona has a lot of difficulties with her friends, who sometimes do not know if they are friends or enemies, and Belinda also bitter the existence of Lyn. Mother and daughter will retire to a world of fantasies and lies.
