The sixth edition of the MUSOC, the much-needed exhibition of Social Cinema and Human Rights of Asturias, which aims to continue showing its reality with its critical vision, emphasizes on the basis of the values ​​that protect: variety, freedom, responsibility and empathy. On this occasion, much of the programming is focused on reclaiming memory as justice for those most affected and denouncing the unworthy living conditions that exist in many places. As part of the Musoc 2018 program, in Toma 3 we will screen “Los sueños de Idomeni”, a documentary that denounces the precarious situation faced by thousands of people fleeing a war in search of a better future. For this meeting, we will also have its director, Amparo Melgares. A tribute to the courage of the refugees, especially the women, many of them traveling alone, with their children, pregnant and exposed to the dangers of a long and dangerous road and also recognize the indispensable work of the volunteers who left their lives in suspense to help in Idomeni.
