Summer is coming in Asturias and the people are ready to welcome the summer’s festival vibes. The 3rd and 4th of August Gijon hosts the third edition of Tsunami Xixon.
Tsunami Xixon is a music festival that was born in 2017 with the aim of spreading the music in all Gijon. The music offered is manifold, taking place in three different and typical location in the city: Plaza del Ayuntamiento and The Skatepark of Cimadevilla will be the frame of the warning up free concerts before the festival. The main show will takes place at Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura, perfect venue for this kind of events.

THE FESTIVAL
The first edition was held during the summer of 2017, being sold-out two weeks in advance with a crowd of 22000 people and an eclectic music variety mixing punk, rock and metal. In 2018 the second edition took place with the support of huge international rock bands like The Prodigy and Bad Religion, reaching another sold out.
This year the festival celebrates its third edition with a brilliant line up: 25 artists ready to set fire to this breathtaking backdrop. Artists like NOFX, The Offspring, Good Charlotte, Berri Txarrak, The Fashion and Kaiser Chiefs are stepping on the stage. The national scene will be well represented by Carolina Durante, Willis Drummond, Bastard on Parade, Sugus and many more.
Even this year the festival is going to achieve another sold out, improving tourism towards the city. Infact, according to the organization, 35% of the sold ticket come from people outside Gijon.
Be ready to enjoy a weekend with the best of Gijón surrounded by friends on the beach, the gastronomy and a huge music concert.
